Loved mother of Elaine and Bill Vandeworp of Dashwood, Yvonne and Howard Hendrick of Exeter. Cherished grandma of Elise and Jamie McGregor, Michele and Eugene King, Bill Jr. and Bobbi Vandeworp, Bob Vandeworp and Stephanie Hovius, Julie and Randy Bowers, Kathy and Terry Thiel, Denise and Rob Haines, Steve and Jen Hendrick, Greg and Kathy Hendrick, great-grandma of 25 and great-great-grandma of 1. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Elisa (Bachmann) Schendel, sisters Leona, Charlotte, and Sylvia, sister-in-law Elda and 4 brothers-in-law. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. Rev. John E. Trembulak III Officiating. Spring Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
