DALEY: Unexpectedly, at Woodstock General Hospital, on Friday, March 28, 2014, Willis Lavern “Vern” Daley, of Goderich, formerly of RR 1, Dashwood and Exeter, age 89. Remembered by the mother of his children Donna Mae (Windsor) Daley of Exeter. Loved father and father-in-law of Brenda Daley of Exeter, Thomas and Elaine Daley of Markdale, Karen Daley of Goderich and Darlene Daley of London. Cherished grandpa of Tammy and Zach Mather, Tiffany and Brad Peever, Kelly and Ray Chipchase, Tamara Daley, Hayden Profit, Graham Profit, Preston Dupee, Jordan Daley, Aliyah Daley and great-grandpa of Thomas, Malachi, Faith, Ethan, Luke and Elita. Vern will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Otto and Vera (Hamilton) Daley, siblings Marjorie Prest and Leonard Daley. At Vern’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. A time of fellowship and remembrance to follow at Boston Pizza, Goderich. If desired, memorial donations may be made (payable by cheque) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
