GIBBS: Suddenly, at his residence, Wednesday, September 4, 2013, Malcolm Alexander “Archie” Gibbs, of Parkhill, age 81. Beloved husband of the late Ruby Alice Jean (Brophey) Gibbs (2000). Loved father of Michelle and Dennis Ticknor of Niagara Falls. Loving grandpa of Alexis Jean Ticknor. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marion Gibbs of Parkhill, Murray and Erma Gibbs of Parkhill, Glen Hayter of Sarnia, James “Bud” Johnson of USA, Charles “Buck” and Jean Gibbs of Grand Bend, Bill and Bettie Gibbs of RR 5, Parkhill, Carolyn Hunter-Duvar of Grand Bend, Robert and Marg Gibbs of Strathroy, Joe and Linda Gibbs of Sarnia, Paul and Cathie Brophey of Port Huron, Ella Gibson of Grand Bend, Inez and Clifford “Tip” Fraser of RR 5, Forest. Loved by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents John Arnold and Helen (Crawford) Gibbs, siblings John Gibbs, Anna Walski, Margaret Hayter, Janet Johnson, sister-in-law Eva Brophey, brothers-in-law Frank Walski, Garry Gibson and Ron Brophey. Cremation has taken place. At Archie’s request, no services will be held. Private family arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.
