WALTHER: Peacefully, at her residence, surrounded with the love of her family and friends, Friday, May 10, 2013, Gerda Erna (Fuhrmann) Walther of Port Franks, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph “Rudy” Walther (1978). Loved mother of Angelika “Angey” Sylvia Lewis, the late Michael Andreas Walther (1986) and mother-in-law of Cheryl Walther. Loving Omi of Angela Marie (Randy) Thompson, Anissa Marie (Rob) Varley all of London, Erich Walther of Woodstock and Gayla Walther (David) of Kitchener. Loving great-Oma of Shayla and Amber Varley and Colton Thompson. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ursula (Ignas) Rastonis of Port Franks, Gunther (Christa) Fuhrmann of Poplar Hill and Annie Fuhrmann of London. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her sister Leonie Blume, brothers Heinz Fuhrmann and Rudy Fuhrmann. A private family gathering was held Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Cremation with interment Woodstock Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Alzheimer Society of Huron County would be appreciated.
