RIGGIN: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Tuesday, March 5, 2013, Sheelagh Jessie (McPhee) Riggin, of Grand Bend, formerly of London, age 84. Beloved wife of the late John Daniel Riggin (1995). Loved mother of Margaret Ann Riggin, Maureen Elizabeth Riggin, both of Toronto, Mary Catherine Riggin Springstead (William) of Barrie and Michael Shawn Riggin of Grand Bend. Loving grandma of Reid and Drew Springstead. Dear sister of Connie Cussons, Sylvia McPhee and sister-in-law of Lois and Roy Merkley and Peter and Doreen Riggin. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her brothers George McPhee, Douglas McPhee, sister Jean McPhee and parents Douglas and Nancy (Leather) McPhee. Rested at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, visitation was Friday evening 7 to 9 p.m.; where a Celebration of Life Funeral Service was held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 12 noon. The Rev. Father Grayhame Bowcott officiated. Cremation, followed by interment Oakland Cemetery, London. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Canadian Feed The Children or Stratford Festival would be appreciated. John and Sheelagh were former owners of Riggin Pharmacy in London. Sheelagh was active in the Huron Country Playhouse Guild, Grand Bend Horticultural Society, Women’s Probus, Partners In Learning and formerly active in the National Ballet of Canada Guild (London).
