LOVIE: Peacefully, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, Saturday, June 13, 2009, Carman Chester Lovie, formerly of Grand Bend, age 91. Beloved husband of Verna Ilene (Bullock) Lovie. Loved father of Ken and Barb Lovie of Shipka, Larry and Donna Lovie, Stan & Cass Lovie, all of RR 3, Parkhill, Bob and Nancy-Rae Lovie of Grand Bend, Randy and Susan Lovie of RR2, Zurich, JoAnne Lovie of Brantford, Jim and Catherine Lovie of Shipka. Loving grandfather of twelve and great-grandfather of five. Dear brother-in-law of Clara Lewis of Ailsa Craig, Audrey Desjardine of Atwood, and Jake Lagerwerf of RR 3, Parkhill. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brother Cecil Lovie, and sisters Freda Farrell and Iva Latta. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Blue Water Rest Home, Alzheimer Society, or charity of choice would be appreciated.
