DEANE: Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Monday, May 25, 2009, Robert Joseph Deane QC, recently of Country Manor Retirement Facility, Thedford, formerly of Grand Bend and Exeter, age 76. Beloved husband of the late Madlyne (McLeod) (Sanders) Deane (2008). Loved father and father-in-law of Sean and Rebecca Deane of London. Loving grandpa of Jessica Deane. Loved uncle of Michael Deane, his wife Lesley and their son Nicholas of Kitchener. Remembered by Madlyne’s family and his former wife Mary Deane of London. Predeceased by brother Dr. Jim Deane and wife Kay Deane. Cremation. A Memorial visitation will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. A private family interment service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Tyrconnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated.
