GUNNING: At South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Sunday, April 5, 2009, after a valiant struggle, Ronald G. “Ron” Gunning, of Grand Bend, age 75. Beloved husband of Orian O. (Stephan) Gunning. Loved father of Paul and Mary Lou Gunning of Grand Bend, Peter and Debby Gunning of Port Franks. Loving grandfather of Candice Gunning and friend Mark Gagnon, Ryan Gunning all of Grand Bend, Paige Gunning of Barbados, Nicole and Britt Gunn and their son Connor of Grand Bend and Brad Turkheim of London. Dear brother-in-law of Ron and Sharon Stephan, Marjorie and the late Mervyn Stephan, Margaret Stephan all of Grand Bend, Jack and Sandra Stephan of Zurich. Ron will be remembered by his longtime friend Gordon Farquhar of Port Franks, nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Emerson and Mae (Clarke) Gunning. Cremation. A graveside interment service for family and friends will be held at the Pinery Cemetery, Klondyke Road, Grand Bend, Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. Tracey Whitson-Bahro officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Grand Bend Branch No. 498 or the Grand Bend United Church Building Fund would be appreciated. Ron was retired from D. H.
