GALLANT: After a valiant struggle with cancer, at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, Friday March 13, 2009, Fern Elizabeth (Humphries) Gallant of Grand Bend, age 64. Beloved wife and best friend of Vern Gallant. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Shirley and Bill Fischer of Grand Bend, Barbara and Ron Tadgell of London, Clarence “Cary” and Amanda Gallant of Glencoe. Loving grandma of Brendan and Mike Fischer, Ryan and Jarod Tadgell, Alex, Erin and Cole Gallant. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Tom and Bonnie Humphries of RR 2, Grand Bend, Nancy and Arnold Crumb of Manitoulin Island, Myrna and Norm Thomas of RR 1, Dashwood, Ted and Judy Humphries of Arkona and George Gallant and companion Peter of London. Remembered by her special aunt Fern Manson, mother-in-law Ingeborg Gallant and her companion Carl Vincent of Grand Bend. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Isabelle (McLean) Humphries.
