CROWN: Unexpectedly, at Exeter Villa, Sunday, January 4, 2009, Gladys Hazel (Jones) Crown, formerly of Grand Bend, age 95. Beloved wife of the late J. Andrew “Andy” Crown (2005). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Wilbert “Bill” and Nancy Crown of Hamilton, Eleanor “Suzie” and Gord Pilger of Port Sydney, Ron and Sharon Crown and Debbie Crown, all of Grand Bend. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Oscar and Asia (Furry) Jones, sisters Grace, Lillian, Evelyn, Rosetta, Gwendolyn, brothers Russell, Stan and son-in-law James Donald (2003). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. Mr. Steve Stellingwerff officiating. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Grand Bend Branch No. 498 “Poppy Fund” would be appreciated.
