WHITTIER: Unexpectedly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Monday, November 10, 2008, when visiting his family, Robert Charles “Rob” Whittier of Burlington, formerly of Peterborough and Oakville, age 55. Beloved son of Dorothy (Wein) Whittier of Exeter and the late A. Charles “Chic” Whittier (1997). Loved brother of Susan Whittier of Exeter, Margaret “Maggie” Nicolson of London and John and Jocelyn Whittier of Calgary. Dear uncle of Molly, Melissa, Danielle, Charlie, Raymie and nephew of Bob Wein of Hensall and Loretta of Exeter, Don and Pat Whittier of Dundas, Alma Johnson of Oakville and June Walker of Toronto. Also remembered by his cousins and their families. Predeceased by his uncles Raymie and Carl Wein and aunt Erma Wein. Cremation. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Bethany Residence, 2387 Industrial Street, Burlington, Ontario, Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario or charity of choice would be appreciated.
