TRAINOR: Mary Teresa

TRAINOR: Surrounded by the love of her family, at Parkwood Hospital, London, Wednesday, May 14, 2008, Mary Teresa Trainor of London, formerly of Mount Carmel, born October 20, 1922 in Dromore, P.E.I. Daughter of the late John F. Callaghan (1972) and Bridget Ann (Kelly) Callaghan (1951). Cherished mother of Richard Trainor (Mary Anne), Wendy Thomson, Earl Trainor (Johanne), Cheryl Haug (Thomas), Heather Holness (Michael), and Pamela Trainor Brooks (Keith). Loved sister of Grace McInnis, Gertrude Wilflin and Augustine Callaghan (Tena). Adored grandmother of Jeff Thomson (Allyson), David and Maggie Trainor, Josh Haug (and friend Jolene), Meghan, Ben and Nicole Holness. Loved aunt of Louis, Betty, George and Kenny Callaghan, Jon Cavanaugh, Imelda Callaghan, Hope Praught, Bill Wilflin, Harold and Reg Trainor and many great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother James Callaghan (1999), sister Dorothy Creemer (2000), sister-in-law Mary Callaghan (1990), brothers-in-law Earl Creemer (1987), Henry Wilflin (1981), Tom Rose (1945), Albert McInnis (1990), son-in-law Lorne Thomson (2002) and nephew George Trainor (2006). Mary was a member of the Catholic Womenโ€™s League for over forty years. She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her faith in God, her tremendous inner strength, her integrity and strong set of values, her generosity and capable hands, her sense of humour, her immeasurable love and her โ€œcamera happy fingerโ€ which preserved her familyโ€™s growth from childhood to adulthood. Sincere gratitude and thanks is expressed to Dr. Geming Tu for his excellent care over many years, to Dr. Cathy Faulds and to the staff of Parkwood Hospitalโ€™s Palliative Care Unit for their expert care. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. C.W.L. prayers at the funeral home Friday at 3.30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Ray Lawhead Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or Jesseโ€™s Journey would be appreciated.

Memorial Tree

Each year we hold a tree dedication ceremony at Morrison Dam in Exeter. We purchase a tree to be planted in memory of the lives lost from the previous year.

Our Service Coverage Area

Service AreaWe are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

Potential Additional Transportation Fees

$150 - If transport requires more than one person, additional fee charged per person required
$150 - If transport occurs outside Mon-Fri, 9-5 business hours
