COLE: Peacefully, at Brucelea Haven Retirement Home, Walkerton, Tuesday, March 11, 2008, Lawrence “Larry” Gerald Cole, formerly of RR 2, Grand Bend and London, age 91. Beloved husband of Joan Mary (Smith) Cole of Brucelea Haven. Loved father of Janice and John MacPherson of Markdale and the late Edward “Ted” Russell Cole (2004). Loving grandpa of Adam Cole of London, Mark and Andrea Watson of Zurich, Paula and Dave Eagleson of Centralia and great-grandpa of Leighton and Gracie Watson, Justin and Dylan Eagleson. Predeceased by his brothers C. W. “Bill” Cole and John “Jack” Ernest A. Cole. Cremation. A time of remembrance and sharing memories of Larry will be held at St. John’s By-the-Lake Anglican Church Parish Hall, Grand Bend, Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to St. Johns Church or charity of choice would be appreciated. Larry was a member of the Cassia Lodge No. 116 in Thedford and retired from Union Gas in London. He was a former member of the London Men of Accord Barbershop Chorus and the Seaforth Harmony Kings.
