DALTON: Peacefully, at Woodlands of Sunset, Welland, Saturday, January 26, 2008, Francis “Frank” Joseph Dalton, formerly of Lucan, age 66. Loved father of Kelly Dalton and her husband Will Rowe of Welland, Michael Dalton and his wife Toni Hall of Calgary. Loving grandpa of Emily Rowe, Tyler and Morgan Dalton. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jim and Corrie Dalton of RR 2, Grand Bend, Bette and Richard Bedard of RR 2, Zurich, Dan and Sandra Dalton of RR 2, Grand Bend, Jo-Ann and Ken Ducharme of RR 1, Dashwood, Julie and Ken McColl of RR 5, Forest and Isidore Laporte of Zurich. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his sisters Patricia (1938) and Mary Laporte (1988). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday, January 29, 2008, commencing at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Father Ray Lawhead officiating. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army in monetary funds or time donated to their work would be appreciated. Frank was well known for his athletic ability in baseball and hockey and played with the St. Michael’s Buzzers in the Toronto Maple Leafs Farm System.
