Passed away peacefully at home with his family and dogs by his side on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Kate Oliver. Cherished father of Lisa MacKinnon (Brian), Amy Oliver, Dana Vyn (Brian), and Ryan Oliver (Morgan). Proud Papa of Patrick, Hannah, Sawyer, and Brynlee. Dear brother of Vickie Oliver. Jeff will also be greatly missed by his four-legged companions Cooper, Freddy, Eddie, Arlo, Clarky, and Griffin.
Jeff was known for his quick wit and bright sense of humour. His wonderfully goofy personality brought endless laughter to those around him. With a profound love for animals, Jeff had a soft spot for all creatures, big and small, and never hesitated to help any animal in need. Jeff enjoyed being in nature, whether he was tending to his garden, or fishing on the lake. Above all, he treasured his yearly trips to Manitoulin Island, a tradition that brought him boundless joy.
Keeping with Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 233 Main Street, LUCAN on Friday, May 22 from 5-8pm.
The family kindly asks those attending the visitation to wear their best thrift store finds in honour of Jeff’s love for a good bargain.
Donations made to the Humane Society London and Middlesex, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ollie’s passing. At 15 years old, Ollie was my “blood brother”. – our bond was fierce and loyal as Hawkeye and Chingachgook. Though life and time took us down different paths and we lost touch, that brotherhood never faded in my heart.
My terminally ill mother also loved Ollie. She always had a smile when asking about him. He was the only kid who truly knew her.
Please know that the boy you loved grew up rooted in kindness and loyalty that stayed with me my entire life.
