Passed away unexpectedly at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, April 13, 2026 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Pollock for over 62 years. Cherished mother of Jim Pollock, and Jane (Pollock) Lynd. Adored grandma of Andrew, Derrick; Megan (Dan), and Steven (David) and great-grandma of Wyatt, and Landon. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sylvia and Gary Struyf, William and Mavis Pollock, and Bonnie Curran. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Christina Pollock, siblings Donald Bell, Shirley and Ron Passmore, Betty and Bob Beaver, nephew Mark Passmore, parents Harold and Edith (McBride) Bell, brother-in-law Doug Curran, and her parents-in-law Milton and Susanna Pollock.
Pat was a dedicated and familiar presence at BMO in Hensall, where she worked faithfully for over 40 years and formed many lasting friendships through her kindness and commitment. She cherished many memories of spending time with her sisters, sharing a laugh and a cup of coffee on the back deck under the trees.
Above all, she was a loving mother and devoted grandma and great grandma who treasured time spent with her family. Pat also found comfort and companionship in her beloved cats, Buttons and Sandy. She will be fondly remembered for the care she shared with others–especially through her homemade angel food cakes, chocolate pies and her much-loved egg salad sandwiches, simple gestures that meant so much to those around her.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the friends and neighbours of Pat for the friendship they shared with her and her family over the years.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Saturday, April 18th from 12:30 – 1:30 PM, where Pat’s funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2 PM. Private family interment at Exeter Cemetery will be held later in the spring.

She was one of the lovely folks who made our hometown (village) memorable… not just a smiling face at the local BMO branch, but a faithful member of my Carmel Presbyterian family, a devoted, patient wife, and a fixture in our Tinker Town neighbourhood, as Jimmy and Jane’s Mom.
Wishing you all peace and healing.
