MARSHALL, Reginald “Reg” Stuart, a devoted family man, proud member of the London trucking community, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Victoria Hospital on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on December 28, 1946, Reg lived a life defined by hard work, dedication to his family, and a sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him.
Predeceased by his parents Don and Eunice Marshall, sister Sylvia Veitenheimer (Jerry), and his brother Roger Marshall, survived by sisters Caroline Arner (Robert), Yvonne Maronets (Ken), and Angela Pettigrew.
Reg leaves behind his beloved wife and soulmate, Patricia, with whom he shared many years of adventures, laughter, and unwavering love. He was a devoted father to his three loving children: Vicki (Bruce), Dan (Kathilyn), and Chrissy (Jeff). To them, he was a source of unwavering support, strength, and wisdom, guiding them through life with a loving hand.
Perhaps his greatest joy, and the role he filled with pride and love, was that of “Poppy” to his eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by Grandchildren Jamie, Melanie, Stacey, David, Brooke (Vicki), Owen, Brynne (Dan), Makayla, Kennedy, Marshall, Kourtney (Chrissy) and great grandchildren Emily and Nathan (Jamie).
Thanks to Patriciaโs family, son Jack (Legg), daughter Laurie (Legg), brother Dave Murrell and many family and friends for giving her strength and support during this devastating time in her life.
Reg enjoyed watching NASCAR races, the Toronto Blue Jays, and sitting on the deck watching the Hummingbirds and Orioles. Reg’s memory will be treasured and kept alive by his wife, Pat; his children, Vicki, Dan, and Chrissy; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a wide circle of relatives and friends who were fortunate enough to share in his warmth and generosity.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Stuart Smith and Subrina Younano and all of Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation Team at University Hospital for their compassionate care and support.
The Marshall family would like to invite you to a casual gathering of family and friends to remember Reg at his home and park.
