Dave passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the age of 59. Loving husband of Colleen (Masse) Gilbert. Proud dad of Jerrica Gilbert, and the late Daniel Gilbert (2013). Cherished son of Erma and the late Murray Gibbs. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sharon and Arnold Sadler, Sheryl and Peter Feagan, and Kim and Murray MacDonald. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Farming was Dave’s pride and joy and he was most happy driving anything John Deere. When he could step away from the farm, he enjoyed cruising in his mustang and checking out other muscle cars.
A private family graveside will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Brinsley.
Donations to the South Huron Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
