My condolences go out to her family, friends and neighbors. Especially to her care giver and thank you for caring for her. I am her neice Geraldine on her hubby’s side. I hadn’t heard from her in quite sometime and am so sad that I didn’t know to attend funeral. I will miss our visits. She was always a pleasure to see. She was a kind and caring aunt. Hope to see you Aunt Edna again in heaven.

Dear Edna, you are missed so much. Always a warm welcome from you, sitting in one of your two favorite chairs. Your wonderful stories , sharing Ron’s pancakes or homemade cookies. You and Ron had a real sweet tooth. He introduced you to Bartliffs apple fritters. You once made Ron a rhubarb pie- best pastry we’ve ever had.Missing your gentle kindness. Miss seeing Sam but he is in a wonderful home.
Thank you for your friendship.
Thank you Marilyn for all the care you gave to Edna, sorry for the loss of your good friend.

It was a privilege as a neighbor/friend to visit Edna & Sam (her cat) at her home with coffee & cookies (Oatmeal) & also sit and visit with her at the hospital. One day Edna (at the hospital) asked if I had baked that day & if I had brought her some oatmeal cookies … and of course I hadn’t. From then on Edna got her oatmeal cookies. I have many cherished memories over the years shared with Edna & her sister Jean. Edna’s kindness, wisdom & gentle spirit highlighted all of our conversations. The stories Edna told will be a treasure to keep. My condolences to Marilyn in the loss of her neighbor & her friend, Edna. Edna will be fondly remembered.

Edna, dear Edna, you will be missed so much especially by Marilyn, your close neighbour and caretaker.
I feel you are now with Jean. As sisters you were so close and I know you missed her after she passed.
We shared some lovely visits and dinners together and it’s those memories that make it easier thinking of you. I am sure you are happy knowing Sam is sharing a loving new home. He will be well looked after.

Edna will be very much missed in her neighborhood of friends. I had the honor of listening to her stories of growing up on a farm and the many house painting adventures she and Jean had. Her friendship with my mom for over 40 years was a joy to watch, especially in the later years. They relied and cared for each other, checked in daily to be sure all was well. My condolences go out to my mom for the loss of a great friend and neighbor. And when Edna looks down she sees Sam in the loving home he is in. With love,
Mary Boyle

My sincere condolence to the family of Edna Kleinfeldt. As the niece, Ruth Carter (Kleinfeldt) of her late husband Kenneth Kleinfeldt, I have good memories of Edna and Uncle Kenneth, and only wish I could have spent more time with her and gotten to know her better. May she rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing as it is to me!
