It is with great sadness that the family of Steven Albert Crosbie announces his passing on Friday, November 21, 2025, in London, Ontario, at the age of 62. Steven was predeceased by his parents Albert and Audry Crosbie, and by his sisters Janet and Beth Hopkins. He is lovingly remembered by his sister Linda (Naz) Muraca; his cherished nieces and nephew Laura (Craig), Elise, Caroline, and Matthew (Amanda); and his great-nephews Drew, Aiden, Carter, and Hunter, all of whom knew him fondly as Uncle Steebie.
Gifted with a brilliant mind, Steven pursued post-secondary studies at Western University and the University of Toronto. Over the years he held several positions, most recently working with the Federal Government. He made his home in Toronto for many years with great memories of friends and his time there. He will also be missed by his cousins, and friends in London. Steve had a quick-witted humour, thought deeply, and felt more than he ever let the world see.
A private family celebration of Stevenโs life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Mark Twain once said, โHumor is mankindโs greatest blessing.โ
So the next time you find yourself laughing, take a moment to think of Steve.

Steven was a brilliant and funny man. I used to send him photos of my art; he had great insight and was very supportive. Much like many extremely intelligent famous people, day to day living was tough on Steven.
I believe his spirit will live on in his family members.
