Gabriel Augustine Hall was born on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 1pm, he passed away peacefully in the arms of his mother at 3:15pm that same day. Beloved 8th child of Kennedy and Brittany Hall, dearest brother of Titus, Shiloh, Clover, Samson, Ariel (†2020), Clementine and Charles and beloved grandson of Michael and Pamela Sheahan, Claudia Viani and Donald Hall.
He spent only a short time with us, a little over 2 hours, but his impact was immeasurable. In August we found out about his life-limiting genetic condition. We had no idea if he would make it through the duration of the pregnancy or if he would live for minutes hours or days once he was born.
Gabriel was the most active of all 8 of the Hall babies during pregnancy, reassuring us all he was strong and still with us. Up until the moments before delivery his mother felt his reassuring kicks. Once he was born, we heard his sweet small cries and were overjoyed. He was baptized within the first minutes of his life and soon laid on his mother’s chest.
His heart rate began to drop and his body became limp. We thought this would be the moment of his death. We were preparing ourselves to bring our children’s brother into meet him, already passed away. Gabriel had already defied so many of the odds of his condition, being a part of only 20% like him to make it to term, let alone be born alive. We pleaded and prayed for more time, tapping him vigorously. God answered so many of our prayers during this entire time, but this moment was where He showed us so much of His love and mercy. Gabriel’s colour came back, his body began to move, and his heart rate went up into the 90s from low 50s.
He spent the remainder of his life surrounded by his loving family, celebrating his birthday, his life and all the little details about him.
The Mass of the Angels will be offered at St. Paul’s Catholic Church (SSPX), 236 Hastings Street, PARKHILL on Friday, October 31st at 10 AM, with open casket visitation at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery on the Bronson Line, Zurich.

We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
