MIKLOVIC: Jane (Scott-Douglas) of Zurich, formerly of England

October 2, 2025 By Haskett Funeral Homes 78 Condolences

MIKLOVIC: Jane (Scott-Douglas) of Zurich, formerly of England

Jane passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the age of 60. Loving wife to Matt Miklovic, her husband of 30 years. Cherished mum of Andrew Miklovic, and Alex Miklovic (fiancรฉ Nicole Russell). Treasured daughter of Ian and Valerie Scott-Douglas. Favourite sister of Jason and Cindy Scott-Douglas. Jane will be missed by her in-laws who became true family over the years; Murray and Susan Sellars, Dennis and Julie Meloche, and Jim and Sally Bratt. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, all who were family or became family to her.

Jane was deeply involved in Vitalpoint Church, where she was always surrounded and uplifted by her โ€œpeopleโ€.  Her faith, kindness and love for God and others touched everyone who knew her.  Her life was a radiant example of joy, kindness, faith and unshakeable friendship.  She touched countless lives with her warmth, humour, and unwavering love, but her greatest joy was being a wife to Matt and a mother to her boys.

This past year, Jane was lifted and carried by an army of prayer warriors, and she felt every prayer.  Jane was overwhelmed with gratitude for the support, love, and encouragement that surrounded her.  Jane is now home, embraced by the God she so dearly loved.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Sunday, October 5th from 2 – 4 PM. where Jane’s memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th at 11 AM. Pastor David Baker officiating.

At Jane’s request, please wear joyful attire.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Jessica’s House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.

When I first came to Vital Point Jane welcomed me with open arms. She prayed with me. I felt connected from the first time I met her. Then we found out we were on the same journey. We messaged each other steadily. That God brought us to each other and we are in this together. Jane gifted me her Victorian Cross Quilt for my treatments. Then it is to be passed on. What an incredible gift Jane entrusted me with from the heart being so brave. An example of what true faith and love is all about. I feel blessed to have met Jane. She has changed my life. She is unforgettable. Now being embraced in Gods loving arms.
Sending sincere condolences to Matt, Andrew, Alex, Ian and Valarie

Dear Matt, Ian, Valerie, and Jason, and family,

My heart is with you in this time of unimaginable sorrow. I was heartbroken to hear of Janeโ€™s passing. There are simply no words to fully express the depth of this loss.

Jane was a true lightโ€”a radiant spirit whose joy, kindness, and deep faith touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. She carried a grace that was far beyond her years, and the love she gave so freely will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew her.

Janeโ€™s life was filled with a beauty and purpose that only God could have woven. Her unwavering faith, even in the face of difficulty, remains a testimony that will continue to inspire. We rest in the hope and promise that she is now in the presence of her Saviour, whole and held, where there is no more pain, only peace.

May the God of all comfort surround you with His peace, hold you close, and carry you through these difficult days. You are in my prayers. With love and deepest sympathy —

My heart is broken for Janeโ€™s entire family. She is a pure gem who is alive and well with her Heavenly Father. An addition to making Heaven crowded with her sweet joyful personality

Dear Jason, Cindy, and Jane’s Family,

I want to extend my deepest condolences to all of you during this difficult time. I had the privilege of meeting Jane twice at LHY, and she left a lasting impression on me with her kindness and beauty.

Please know that my thoughts are with you, and I am sending love and strength to your family.
