March 16, 1986 – September 14, 2025
Erik passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 39. Cherished son of Bob and Deb (Reid) Lawrence of Hensall. Loving brother of Alicia (Jason) Schweitzer of Goderich. Proud uncle of Jamen, and Abel Schweitzer. Dear nephew of Tim Lawrence, Greg Lawrence, and Dan (Wendy) Reid. Erik was predeceased by his grandparents, Rob and Ann Lawrence and Don and Helen Reid, his aunt Kathleen, and his uncle David.
Erik cherished time spent fishing with his dad and sister, the thrill of skateboarding, and the challenge of golf. Hockey was a big part of his life, with his dad proudly coaching from the bench. Surrounded by childhood friends who became like brothers, he built bonds and memories that lasted a lifetime.
A celebration of Erik’s life will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Saturday, October 11th from 1 – 4 PM.
Donations to Alzheimer Society Huron Perth would be greatly appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
