Ingrid passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the age of 50. Cherished wife of Patrick Maidens for 19 years. Proud mom of Kerstin Maidens and step mom of Kyle Maidens (Kassie). Adored daughter of Louise Bygden. Dear sister of Eric Bygden and sister-in-law of Mark Maidens (Cathy). Dearly missed by her loving grandmother Kerstin Bygden and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by her father Lars Bygden.
Ingrid embraced life with a joyful spirit, from her childhood days at camp to her dedicated career as a healthcare worker. She found adventure and peace scuba diving in the Caribbean with her beloved husband, Pat and many friends, exploring vibrant coral reefs, swimming alongside colorful marine life, and marveling at the serene beauty beneath the waves. The ocean was her sanctuary, a place where she felt both awe and tranquility. Ingrid’s passion for life shone in all she did, always cherishing the simple, breathtaking moments the world had to offer.
A celebration of Ingrid’s wonderful life will be held at the Byron-Springbank Legion, 1276 Commissioners Road West, London on Sunday, April 27th from 2 – 5 PM.
Donations in Ingrid’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to thank the staff at LHSC – University Hospital ICU for their care and compassion shown to Ingrid and her family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
