Dear father of Brad and Luanne Downie of Palmerston and Ellen and Lou Liptak of Miami, Florida. Dear grandfather of Caitlain and Heather and chosen gramps of Jessica and Jonathan Brown. Brother of Bill and Shirley Downie and Ken and Norma Downie and Bob Downie. Fond brother-in-law of Bill and Isobel Brown and loving uncle to Robert and Liz Brown, Paul and Anne Brown and daughter Rachel, Marilouise Brown and Doug Brown. Jerry retired from Bell Canada in 1991 in Kitchener and was Past Master of Twin City Lodge A.F. and A.M. No. 509. At Jerry’s request, his body has been donated to medical science at the University of Western Ontario. There will be no funeral service. At a later date there will be a private memorial service for the family.
