At Huronview, Clinton on Sunday, February 23, 2003, Richard Anthony (Rick) McCann, formerly of Exeter in his 47th year. Much loved son of Clement and Joan McCann of Clinton. Special little brother to Don McCann of Forest, Mary Lou Barnes of St. Thomas, Susan  and Peter Czypyha of London, Tom and Deb McCann of Grand Bend, Ken McCann, Carolyn and Randy “Quinn” Gilfillan and Diane and Joe Darling all of Exeter. Special brother-in-law of Marilyn McCann of Forest. Loved by 18 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children. Predeceased by “outlaws” Bob Barnes and Pauline McCann and great-nephew Caleb McCann. Rick will be sadly missed by his friends at the George Street Group Home in Exeter, especially Connie Kernick and Marg Palsa.  Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on  Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Church, 200 Sanders Street, Exeter on Tuesday, February 25th at 11AM., with Father Paul Baillargeon presiding. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to Community Living, Precious Blood Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be said in the funeral home, Monday evening at 6:45 PM.

Dear mother of Linda and Ken Genttner of Dashwood. Dear grandmother of Todd, Terry and his friend Carrie and Julia and her friend Dan. Dear sister-in-law of Paul and Marguerite Jaster of Sterling Heights, Clem and Theresa Regier, Leo and Cecile Meidinger, Ivan and Marjorie Meidinger, Stephen and Pat Meidinger, Virginia Denomme and Gerard and Mary Ducharme all of Zurich, Phil and Martha Vercouteren of Blenheim and Cyrille and Anne Hartman of Lucan. “At Rest with the Lord” Donald Maxwell McComb of Elginfield, age 72, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on February 18, 2003. Beloved husband of Aleda (Hughes) McComb. Loving father of five sons and their wives – Kevin and Sandra of Mitchell; Brian and Sarah of Elginfield; Darrell and Penny of Mount Brydges; Shawn and Lisa of Algonquin, Illionis; Erin and Jane of Lucan. Remembered with love by fifteen grandchildren –Lindsey, Rodney, Ginger and Wade; Kayla, Wesley and Quentin; Tyler, Ashley and Melissa; Nathaniel, Kyle and Garrett; Nicole and Steven. Dear brother of Keith and his wife Erma of Elginfield. Survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Chester and Edna (Maxwell) McComb.
