ZIMMER: Suddenly and unexpectedly, at his residence on Monday, April 24, 2023, Michael Joseph Zimmer of Toronto formerly of Dashwood, age 51. Forever loved dad of Wilhelm Kirk Zimmer of Toronto and Waterloo. Loved son of Joseph “Joe” and Marilyn (Callaghan) Zimmer of Dashwood. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Andrea and Bill Morrison of Kincardine and Craig and Jennette Zimmer of Bayfield. Cherished uncle of Ashlyn and Madelyn Zimmer. Remembered by Wil’s mom Heather van den Broek of Waterloo, his aunts and uncles Irene Brooks of St. Thomas, Ruth and Ian McCorquodale and Helen Eccles all of London. Cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Mass will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery, Bronson Line, Zurich at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations in Trust for Wil (payable to Heather van den Broek) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
