Bob and Pat were our next door neighbours for years in St. Marys, and you know what fun it is to share daily conversations over the fence. We’d greet each other whenever we crossed paths, and talked effortlessly about our children, gardening, their B&B, what’s on the barbecue, my school, their church, the pool, and even sports. When Bob was in a hurry he’d just greet me with a loud, “Oih!!!!!” Bob’s career as a painter came in handy for us as well. We hired him for his talents a number of times, and he shared his knowledge of painting willingly with me which I appreciated even more. One of the funniest painting stories happened when he left a can of paint in the driveway from a previous job, and then suddenly a snowstorm hit the town. Bob of course fired up his snowblower forgetting the paint was under the snow. Yes, the snowblower sucked up the paint can and showered the paint all over the side of our newly painted house! Of course Bob felt terrible, and repainted the side of our house the next Spring. I will always cherish the generosity of Bob and Pat, and the fond memories. We will miss them both.

Some one else will have to pick their golf ball from the water marked ” DO NOT PICK BALLS FROM PONDS__ALLIGATORS >>>.

WE sure shared a LOT of laughs–thanks for those .
