XAVIER- LAMMERANT: Ana of Seaforth

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Ana Paula Xavier-Lammerant, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all whose lives she touched, on February 9, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Randy for over 8 years.  Ana was the twinkle in his eye and the beat of his heart and as Ana would say – the pain in his butt. Cherished mother of Chris Silva (Nikita), Jessica DaSilva, and Melissa DaSilva.  Loving Stepmom of Logan Lammerant, and Wade Lammerant. Proud grandma of Elliena Silva. Survived by her mother Maria Peixoto Xavier, parents-in-law Andre and Joyce Lammerant; sisters Claudia Xavier (Fernando) and Sonia Xavier (Mike).  Missed by many friends and extended family. Predeceased by father, Olavo Xavier and mother-in-law Agnes Lammerant.

Despite Ana being taken too soon, she lived an extraordinary life and left a mark on all our lives with her kindness.   Her smile lit up the room and she had a special way with words to bring laughter in our lives.  With that said she was genuine to a fault, a pussy cat (or lion) at heart and yet she sugar coated nothing.

Ana loved the water and ensured their vacations were along the beach or ocean.  She had a knack for making a house a home, inside with her artistic decorating and outside as she enjoyed working in her gardens, with the help of her precious fur babies – Duke and Duchess. (Who enjoyed helping her work up the soil).

A private family funeral service will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth. Donations to Jessica’s House in Exeter would be appreciated.

When you think of Ana, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

Oh, Ana. There are no words to describe how sad I am to hear that you’ve left this Earth. At every function I ever attended with you, you smiled and welcomed me. You told a joke – or, a vulnerable sad story. You were so kind and so authentic. The Earth is a sadder place without you – but the heavens have gained a beautiful angel.

Randy, Wade, Logan, Duke and Duchess – – sending you so, so much love as you navigate Ana’s loss. My heart is with you.

Love, Chelsea

I thought we had more time but how much would have been enough, another 10 years another 20… I am not sure how you could ever quantify the amount of time that would be enough to spend with someone as wonderful, caring, and genuine as Ana. Until we meet again, I love you. And you were always right when you said what’s not to love. Sincerest condolences to Randy and family.
