Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On January 8, 2025 @ 9:59 AM In Exeter,Obituary | 41 Comments

1971-2025
With profound grief, we share that Frank Woodward passed away of a heart attack on Sunday, January 5. He is survived by his partner, Charmaine of Exeter; his mother Jean Woodward of Zurich; sister Carol (Brad) of Toronto, and brother David (Catherine) of London. He also leaves three nephews (Samuel, Ben, and Matthew) and one niece (Sarah). Frank was predeceased by his father, David James Woodward, in 2024.
Frank graduated from South Huron District High School and briefly attended Fanshawe College. Although he struggled with severe mental and physical health challenges, Frank was drawn to beauty, sacred liturgy, and the spirituality that emerges from those gifts. He found solace in the Anglican service at Trivitt Memorial Church in his final years. Frank’s family is grateful for his life.
In accordance with Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at Trivitt Memorial Church, Exeter. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations in Frank’s memory can be made to Trivitt Memorial Church or Canadian Mental Health Association-Thames Valley.

Whether it was at a Bible study or coffee time after church or running into one another at a grocery store or other errands, there were good chats.

My profound condolences to the Woodward family for your loss. Frank was a very good friend of mine in High School and during his time in college we commuted together to Fanshawe.
Frank and I matched in energy in those formative days and I was witness to the beginnings of his struggles. Though we drifted apart after his departure from college, Frank would occasionally visit me at the farm or I would bump into him in town and we would recall together our crazy younger years.
I hope that I was as much a part of Frank’s fondest memories as he was of mine.
Rest in peace now old friend.
As the pastor at Trivitt I will miss his friendly handshake and his willingness to chat with me anytime. He was a beloved member of our community and he leaves a deep impression on us all. Rest in peace my friend and rise in glory.
Dear Jean and family,
Trusting God’s comfort and strength for you all in this season of profound loss.
