Jane, Ron , Karen and Familys
I was sorry to hear of your mothers passing when Ron phoned me Tuesday night.
Since then I think back on the good times I recall growing up, along with my visits to her place outside of Zurich
when I was in the area, plus telephone conversations after she left.
I was always amazed at her memory and recollections, especially some of the things she brought up during our visit at Janes in Cambridge a few years ago.
My sympathy.

Dear Jane and Jack and family. Thoughts and prayers are with your families at this time.

My sincere condolences to Veola’s family, especially to Karen, my friend from so long ago. I remember Veola as a kind, strong, determined woman. Although I’m sorry to see that she passed, I’m happy that she had a long and hopefully healthy life.

Condolence from Paul Flaxbard on January 16th, 2017 5:21 PM

Our deepest sympathies to Veola’s family. I have many fond memories of great visits whether in Zurich, staying with her at the cottage in Port Franks (probably the 1970’s), or in London. As a youth I called Veola and Gordon my aunt and uncle although they were actually my cousins, my godparents, and close friends of my parents. Veola was a wonderful person and will surely be missed.
