Passed peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband of Christine (Ryan) Winbow for 56 years. Dear father of Charene and Mark Winbow-Deacon of Hawkesbury Upton and Craig and Kim Winbow of Exeter. Grandfather to Sam Deacon; Evan and Jenni and Grace Winbow. Great Grandpa to Olivia and Reid Winbow. Mick is survived by brother and sisters Gwen, Vic and Pat and will be remembered by his sister-in-law Liz and Gordon Tuck as well as many nieces, nephews, and family friends in Canada and England. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Ella Winbow, his infant son (1968), his grandson Ben (1997) and brothers and sisters Don, Bill, Judy, Pam and Peg.
Michael immigrated to Canada in 1965. Settling in London with his beloved wife Christine then moving to the family farm (1974). He worked in the construction industry and farmed on the Sunshine Line, Usborne Township. Michael started J & M Drywall in 1987 and worked there until he retired.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Wednesday from 6-9 PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP with a time to attend the visitation. Please click “Register Now” below to register.
A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17 at 11 AM. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join them from the comfort of your home. Stream the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh. Cremation with interment at Exeter Cemetery, Exeter.
