WINBOW: Evan of Hensall, formerly of Exeter

Suddenly and unexpectedly as a result of an acute asthma attack, something Evan lived with throughout his life. Evan passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 25. Cherished husband and best friend of Jenni (Oliver) Winbow for over 4 years. Proud father of Olivia, Reid, and a bundle of joy to complete the five piece band arriving in April 2022. Cherished son of Craig and Kim (Woodley) Winbow. Adored brother of the late Ben Winbow, and Grace Winbow and Cory Gough. Dear grandson of the late Mike (2020) and Christine Winbow, and Eugene and Liz Woodley. Son-in-law of Dan and Tanya Oliver. Brother-in-law of Ashley (Cody), Cody (Stephanie), Matt, and Owen. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.

Evan’s pride and joy was his family, always putting them ahead of himself. He was a hardworking man, and very proud to be working alongside his dad and grandpa in the family business. An avid sports fan, Evan enjoyed playing hockey and soccer. He loved to sit around a campfire with his friends, enjoying a cold Busch Light, a whiskey and a hunk of meat on the smoker to share, listening to a good playlist full of old country, generally songs that told a story.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, EXETER on Monday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP with a time to attend the visitation. Please click “Register Now” below to register.

A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 7th at 11 AM. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your home. Stream the service live or at your convenience by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh.

Donations to a Trust Fund for Evan and Jenni’s children would be appreciated by the family (cheques made out to Jenni Oliver).

I’ll never forget when he spoke so fondly of his brother, Ben and I hope you all take some comfort that they are now reunited and watching over all of you.
