WILLIAMS: Peacefully, surrounded by love, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, Randolph “Randy” Lee Williams, of Grand Bend, age 63. Randy was born in Chatham, Ontario on May 4, 1960. Beloved husband and best friend (just short of 24 years) to Janice M. (Buchanan) Williams. Loved father (and father-in-law) of his “Sweetie” Emilee (Rachael) and “Iceman” Isaac (Cassie). Cherished “Grandpa Randy” of Lylah, Lucas, Liam, Laken, Locklyn, and Lennox. Dear brother (and brother-in-law) of Curtis, Karrie, Tammy (Dale), EJ (Char), Sandy (Dave), Julie (Dennis), Dave (Nade), and Sue (Scott). Lovingly remembered by his step-mom Irene Williams. Forever loved “Brother from another Mother” of Mike, Mark, and Kenny. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and their families. Also remembered by children’s mother Jennifer and his fur-friend Sophie. Predeceased by his parents Ralph Williams (2021), Katheleen (Robbins) Williams (2024), and brother Blake Williams (2001). At Randy’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Thursday, April 18, at 1:00 p.m. with Visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fr. Murray Watson Officiant. “Don’t be afraid to wear your best Lion’s attire.” Randy worked as a chef and in grocery retail and was also self-employed with his own business, landscaping various residential and commercial properties. Randy was a member of the Grand Bend Legion for 20 years. Randy was happiest when fishing, camping, darting, playing baseball, or watching his Lions (except when they were robbed of the Superbowl). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 498, Grand Bend; the Grand Bend Legion Dart League; or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Janice, Jeff and I would like to express our deepest condolences. I worked with Randy just a short while at Sobeys but my favourite memory of him was his break time food choices which invariably was chocolate milk and a chocolate bar. We joked about it each time. We’re so sorry Janice. He was a great guy.
