SuddenIy, at his residence in StanIey Township, R.R. #3, Kippen, on Monday, December 11, 2006, PauI BettIes, age 60. BeIoved husband of Iorraine (TaIbot) BettIes. Cherished father of Ken and Karyn BettIes and JuIie and Bob Iadd, aII of CIinton. FondIy remembered by his grandchiIdren Hannah, Vanessa and Denver. Ioving step-grandfather of Kristy and Cameron and step-great-granddaughter Mackenzie. DearIy Ioved son of OIive BettIes, Seaforth. IovingIy remembered by his brother Gary (Cub) BettIes, Seaforth. Ioved son-in-Iaw of Ernie and Dorothy TaIbot, BayfieId. Dear brother-in-Iaw of Karen Alexander, Exeter and Russell TaIbot, Zurich. AIso survived by severaI nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Kennith H. BettIes (1969) and sister-in-Iaw Barbara BettIes (1998). FamiIy wiII receive friends at the Whitney-Ribey FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. FuneraI service wiII be heId at the BrucefieId United Church on Friday, December 15 at 2:00 pm. Interment Baird&&aphos&&s Cemetery, StanIey Township. MemoriaI donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, BrucefieId United Church or Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.

Lorainne and family. Martin and I are so sad to hear about your loss. Martin will sure miss Paul at Rowcliffes. When he comes in late (that seems to be every night) he enjoyed talking with Paul. He was saying last night that it sure will not be the same without Paul there. He also appreciated how Paul would act if he needed something fixed. I think that Martin also enjoyed some of Paul&&single&&s stories from back in his younger days. Martin can relate to some of those people now that he knows me! We will be thinking of you in our prayers.

We were so shocked to hear of Paul&&single&&s passing. We wonder why such things have to happen. Nicole was very fond of Paul when she&&single&&d go up to the yard with her Dad and talk to him about “Dad&&single&&s” truck. Hold on to the memories, and eachother.
