In Smithers, B.C. on Saturday, May 13, 2006 William (Bill) Van der Wiel of Smithers, B.C. in his 94th  year.  Beloved husband of the late Ann (De Graff) Van der Wiel (1989).  Dear father and father-in-law of Henry and Elsie Van der Wiel, Morris and Sharon Van der Wiel, Alice and Joe Hidber, Pauline and Bev Harris and Roderick and Brenda Van der Wiel all of B.C., Pam and Ron Walper of Exeter, Carol Van der Wiel of B.C. and Gayle Van der Wiel of Stratford.  Dear grandfather of 27 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  Predeceased by sons Aart and Gerard, daughter Anne Jorgenson and her husband Kai.  A memorial service will be held at Bethel Reformed Church, 200 Huron Street East, Exeter on Tuesday, May 23rd at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jim Pullman officiating.  Interment Hensall Union Cemetery.  Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
