Our family came to know Jennifer during her time at Richmond Woods. Her friendly interactions with residents, her perpetual smile and spunk endeared her to everyone.
My parents received quite a few of Jenn’s beautifully hand-crafted, special occasion cards. They were admired, deeply appreciated and always tucked away as keepsakes.
Jenn’s thoughtfulness was impactful. For that reason and many others, she will be very fondly remembered.

Condolence from Heather Kuiper, Nick Kuiper, and Joan Olinger on May 6th, 2024 7:41 PM

It was with a great sadness that our daughter Heather Kuiper called from Minnesota today to tell us about Jenny’s passing. It was certainly a great shock to Heather and to us to hear that Jenny had passed on. Our deepest condolences are offered to her family and to all those who knew and loved Jenny. She will be greatly missed. Jenny was such an incredibly special and memorable person, and such an inspiration to others!!! She always had such a beautiful smile and a warm, welcoming hello no matter what type of medical challenges she was dealing with at the time.

As a family, we were so blessed to have had a chance to get to know Jenny well during the years that we lived in Birr. Jenny and Heather were very special best friends. Jenny spent many, many happy hours at our home as the two of them developed incredibly elaborate and drama-rich games with just a minimum of props. I was always awed by the depth of their creativity as they played together. I liked to just sit and watch and listen . It was always a great pleasure when Jenny came over to play!!!

When we moved back to London, I always cherished a chance to see Jenny when she worked at Rocky Road Chocolate Store in Masonville Mall. Seeing her was always a delight. When she no longer worked at the Mall, Nick and I would always think of her with great fondness when we went for a country drive to Birr. We would always look at her family home and wonder where she was and what she was doing. She always had a special place in our hearts, and she always will. Heather, Nick, and I are so grateful, and our lives so enriched, that we had a chance to know and love Jenny Willard.

Condolence from Carly Jacklin on May 7th, 2024 6:15 PM

Dear Chris, Rod, Carrie (Kurt), Leanne (Ted), and the kids,

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for welcoming me into the family with open arms, just as Jen did. I am honoured to be on the VIP list.

Dear Jen,

Thank you for being my rock and best friend these past thirteen (13) years. You have changed my life forever. I will miss your love and support, your sass, your sense of humour and sarcasm, and most importantly your company. We always joked about being soulmates, but over the years it became evident that we are. From books, to tea, to sunsets, to TV shows, to inside jokes, and to being October babies and Libra’s, we were quite the pair. Celebrating our birthdays together was one of my favourite times with you. I am so lucky to have had you in my life. I hope you are off doing all of the things you were not able to get to in this lifetime. I love you very much, and I know that you are watching over all of your loved ones. See you in the next life, as I know we will find each other again.

Love, Carly
