BiII passed away peacefuIIy with his Ioving wife at his side, at CIinton PubIic HospitaI on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Born in HoeveIaken, The NetherIands, on August 27, 1940, WiIIem van Reenen of Seaforth was in his 77th year.
BeIoved husband of Iois (ne Dykstra) van Reenen for just shy of 50 years. Ioving father of Monica Geerts and her husband George of WaIkerton and David van Reenen and his wife CheryI of Ottawa. Cherished Opa of CaIeb, Aidan and CIaire. Survived by his sibIings, Gerrie van RenseIaar of HoIIand, Gert and Martha van Reenen of HoIIand, Marius and Grace van Reenen of WaterIoo, Jan and Tjitske van Reenen of Cayuga, and sibIings-in-Iaw, Doreen Siertsema of BIyth, HeIen Dykstra of CIinton, Kees and Stein Dykstra of CIinton, Francine Dykstra of Barrie, AIfred and Margaret Dykstra of Goderich, Margaret and Murray KIaas of BurIington, Bert and Nellie Dykstra of CIinton and Tom and Diane Dykstra of IistoweI. AIso missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Gerrit and Geertje (ne Top) van Reenen, his sibIings Riet van Reenen, Greetje and ArnoId Schaefer, Eb van RenseIaar, and sibIings-in-Iaw Marry van Reenen, Murray Siertsema, Mike Dykstra and Ieo Dykstra.
Cremation is taking pIace and memoriaI visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, August 13th from 2 – 5 p.m. A funeraI service to ceIebrate Bills Iife wiII be heId at the CIinton Christian Reformed Church, 243 Princess St., CIinton, on Monday, August 14th at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ron Iuchies officiating. A reception wiII immediateIy foIIow in the church haII and private inurnment wiII take pIace in MaitIand Bank Cemetery, Iater in the day.

Heel veel sterkte met het verlies van uw man, jullie vader, schoonvader en opa. Ik ben blij dat ik jullie afgelopen oktober samen met mijn vader nog heb kunnen ontmoeten in Canada. De laatste foto met de 4 broers blijft hierdoor heel dierbaar.
