Dear Family,

Yesterday we heard the terribly sad news that Willy had decided that he could not live any longer. We were so sorry to hear this. We only met Willy once, at the Kroonen reunion. At that time he made such a open and friendly impression on us. He seeemed to be so pleased to see all his family oversea. Over a month ago Mariet and Ed told us about their last visit, which was quite alarming. And now Willy has passed away. May you all find the strenght and courage to face these difficult times and may you find comport in all the memories of him. Warm regards Bert and Pim

Lieve familie in Canada,

Condolence from Maurice Kroonen on September 25th, 2009 9:00 AM

Dearest Family,

We would like to send you our deepest sympathies to everyone at this very difficult time.
We only met Willy once, at the Kroonen reunion. At that time he made such a open and friendly impression on us. He looked very pleased to see all his family overseas. Pitiful this was the only time I had the opportunity to meet him.
My oldest brother and sister did now him better. They were born also in Canada (2 eldest children of Giel and Mia Kroonen. I am there younger brother). They only could say good things about Willy. The last time he visited the Netherlands he invited us to visit him in Canada. We now regret that we have delayed this so long.
Again we wish you our deepest sympathies with the lost of Willy. We hope you can overcome such difficult times.

Those we love don&&single&&t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Kind regards,

Maurice, Nicole, Lisa and Julie Kroonen
