WHITNEY: Suddenly and peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Sunday, June 17, 2001, Halley Robert Whitney, in his 39th year. Dear father of Heather May and Antoine of Maidstone, Sask. and Halley and Danielle of Kikino, Alberta. Beloved son of Mark W. Whitney of Grand Bend and the late M. Shirley (Jones) Whitney (Dec. 21, 1999). Loving brother and brother-in-law of Rene Whitney and Gord Kadey of London, Elaine and George Ducharme, Heather Tieman and Terry Robbins all of R. R. #1, Dashwood, Marilyn and Matias Diaz of Ingersoll. Remembered fondly by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and their families. Also missed by his father’s companion, Ruth Smith. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, (519-237-3532) on Friday, June 22, 2001 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Pirie Mitchell officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, C.N.I.B. or charity of choice would be appreciated.
