Our heartfelt condolences to all of you on your loss. Anne was a very classy lady with a great sense of humour and a good ear for music. We sang with her for many years, and enjoyed some great times out at the farm in Birr.

She had a positive and lasting impact on a multitude of people. May the love they felt for her provide you with some comfort.

Anne played piano for our residents every month at Prince George Retirement Residence. The residents and staff will miss her very much. Anne’s happy spirit and cheerful songs brightened the day of all who listened. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones during this difficult time.

I’m so sorry to hear of Anne’s passing. She opened her home and heart to our family; Anne was like a grandparent to me while growing up. From the swimming pool, to tobogganing, to playing mousetrap in the pool house, to the real mice in the kitchen, Anne’s house was the centre of all things fun in Birr! Reading the obituary my mind exploded with a plethora of idyllic childhood memories and the scents of my farm country home. We saw Anne every Sunday at Birr United and I couldn’t help but to run to her when I saw her smiling face.

A sad loss of a wonderfully warm and kind woman.

Dear family of Anne,
I send my deepest sympathy to your family. I lived with Anne for a year during Teacher’s College. We enjoyed many good times together. I feel privileged to have met her and been able to be apart of her life for a little while. She was a wonderful person and I will never forget her generosity and kind heart.
May God comfort you all. You will be in my thoughts and prayers this weekend.

Anne White is one special lady. She was a wonderful role model who, with Ron, raised an incredible family. I am surprised this was her time, but was warmed to read her grand-daughter’s tribute which is so accurate and eloquently written. All the good and love she gave to the world will live on through her family.

We were very sorry to hear about Anne’s passing. We will always remember how she , Ron and the rest of the White family welcomed us and made us feel at home when we emigrated to Canada in the early 70’s. Whenever we met her in recent years Anne always showed a genuine interest in our family and we will remember a meal that we had with her in the past year where we reminisced about old times and shared family photographs. She was a truly caring lady. Our condolences to you all and may you find peace in your happy memories.

I knew Anne for 5 years while singing with the Shades of Harmony, London, ON, As the years went by we got to sing near or next to each other, it was wonderful listening to her beautiful singing. She was always so pleasant and always smiling with many kind words of wisdom to express to me and others. Of course I will miss her very much and hope that her smiling face brings wonderful memories now and into the future. Many heartfelt hugs and deepest sympathy to help you through this difficult time now and into the future. Peace be with you…

It was my privilege to have served with Anne in the chapel services at Craigwiel Gardens (long-term care home) for the past ten years. Anne brought not only the music but her caring presence to our residents twice a month during those years. May you now know the love that she so freely shared with others.

So sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. I first remember her as a Bible School teacher at Birr United Church.I thought she was soooo pretty and always hoped to be in her class.She was a very carring lady.

Dear Family of Anne, What an amazing woman your mother (and wife) was. I so enjoyed having her in our Stephen Ministry training class and then afterwards as a Stephen Minister for a few years. Up until her death, she also served as a life group leader and what a blessing she was to the various seniors in her study group. She loved them, she watched over them, she taught them, and shepherded them.

Just recently, in my battle with cancer, Anne sent me a most amazing card that was such a huge encouragement to me. She was a woman always looking out for the needs of others and loving them in the name of Jesus. I am so thankful to have known her and ministered with her. May the Lord comfort your hearts as you grieve the loss of your dear mom and wife.

I know we didn’t know your mother Anne at all Patty, but Donald and I just wanted you to know we’re thinking of you, Kelly, Sara and Jessica.. It’s so hard to lose a Mom and grandparent.

To the Family of Anne:
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you work through the loss of Anne from your lives. As a volunteer at the YMCA, I have many fond memories of Anne. I will miss our visits as I took her blood pressure. It was always great just catching up on the different things going on in her life, the most recent being her marriage. She was a very happy woman and lived for her family. She was a great woman and I will miss her terribly. She has left a void in many lives but find comfort knowing she has touched many lives in a positive way.

I was saddened to see of the passing of Anne. She made many wonderful contributions during her life time and she will be missed. I remember her well from Aglow as well as from shared times in her community. My sincere sympathy to each of her family and friends. May treasured memories give strength and her faith give comfort.

Dear Anne White Family,
It was a shock to read in the Ontario Farmer this weekend the Estate Farm Sale of the family farm. I spent a year with your mom while I attended Fanshawe College (1990-1991 ?). She was a great person, my ‘other mom’, and always there for you in person or in a little note left on the kitchen table. She will be greatly missed and I truly am sorry that I missed meeting you at her service. Peace be with you all.
