Suddenly at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Saturday, March 7, 2015, of Dashwood, in her 67th year. Beloved wife of Harold Westlake. Dear mother of Jason Westlake and Jeff Westlake both of Hensall, and Jennifer Westlake of Dashwood. Dear grandmother of Jori and Lorissa; and Madison. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Andy Miller, Katherine Cunnington, and John and Ruth Miller all of Exeter, Frank and Laura Miller of London and Gary Sheppard of Parkhill. Predeceased by sisters Ann Romphf, Mary Davidson and Marg Sheppard.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at 10 AM with Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

I was sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. Only her brothers will remember me from days in the old school house. I have that same pretty school picture. That’s how I remember Ruthie.
Remember and share the memories you have as a family. That’s what keeps you going.
Our deepest sympathy to Harold and family… Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She left a mark on the hearts of those who knew her. Praying that God will give strength at this time of loss and that this sorrow will pass and turns to warm memories of her for that is what she would want for you her family.

I am in AZ and received the sad news of Ruth’s passing. To the entire Westlake family, I send my deepest sympathy. Jason, Jeff and Jennifer, I remember you well from your school days at Usbourne and I remember your mom also. It is difficult saying goodbye to one you love, I hope that all the memories of her will give you comfort.
