Dear Tristen, Ben, Lincoln . . . Noel, John, Krista, Jasmine . . . & all of Bonnie’s Family & Friends . . .

Saying goodbye is always heartbreaking especially when it is such a young lady – so beautiful both inside and out and who had the zest for life. It is so difficult to understand why these things happen to such good people. Bonnie, you were admired by so many of us for your special qualities – strength, courage, positivity, determination, strong will and so many more but also for your loving manner, kindness, loving smile, infectious laugh but most importantly the LOVE for your family, friends & neighbours.

The bond between a Mother, Grand-Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt & Friend is profound and everlasting – Bonnie, you set the standards high as you influenced each & everyone of us in your own unique way.

To Bonnie’s family – may the loving cherished memories you have of her live on – in your hearts forever- bring smiles to your faces – some comfort and help you face the difficult days that lay ahead. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal.” You have so many family, friends, neighbours & community grieving along side you and supporting all of you with their thoughts & prayers.

May God keep you in his loving arms as you grieve and celebrate Bonnie’s life.

Bonnie is now resting peacefully in the arms of the angels & may her journey to the next life be as wonderful as she was on Earth. She will be your guiding angel in spirit – watching over all of you & having a blast being reunited with her Dad, Walter.

Rest in Peace my dear”Friend” – we had some really fun times & we will forever miss you XO

So sorry for your loss –our deepest sympathy – HUGS to all !

Noel,John, Tristen and families
It is times like this that seem so unfair.
Bonnie always had such a big smile on her face, was a good friend to everyone and always brought happiness to anywhere she was.
Thinking of you at this sad and difficult time.

Noel, John, Tristen and family.

So sorry to hear of Bonnie’s passing. Many fond memories of the fun we had back in the day. Lots of great times playing baseball all over the place. And some blurry memories of the parties after Lol.
Another one gone too soon.

Noel, Tristen & Ben, John ,
I’m so sorry to only learn today of Bonnie’s passing. She has left a mark on my lives with her kindness, generosity, sparkle and that infectious smile. It was great to have her move into the neighbourhood, ride on Bus 17 and add some excitement to our grade at Usborne. I appreciated her always catching my throws to first base wherever my aim from the mound ended up and she never complained. The years we played together for Hurondale, Kirkton and the Greys have many memories of sharing rides, and celebrating wins. After moving back into the area, it was always wonderful to catch up at Dr. Steele’s, and the Hensall Clinic. She was very proud of her family and your accomplishments Tristen. May your memories fill your hearts in the days ahead.
Hugs to all, Patti Down & John McAllister

Condolence from Irene Gettler on November 16th, 2018 6:18 PM

I just learned today of Bonnie’s passing and it saddens me so.I enjoyed working with Bonnie through he Medical Centre, she looked after the doctor billings. God, she was so full of life and lived her life to the fullest! She faced each battle with cancer and never stopped. Her family gave her the added strength to help her get through difficult days. And the grand baby helped too.
I am thankful she played a part of my life.
My condolences to her family during this difficult time.

I am sorry to be so late to offer condolences, but I was recently wondering what happened to my friend Bonnie Westlake, who moved to Exeter when we were children, and found this. My sympathy to her family, particularly John. It’s been a very long time, but I never forgot either of you. From reading the condolences, it seems that Bonnie remained the same person that I knew, and her smile in the photos is exactly as I remember it. I’m sorry we lost touch.
