Don Webster age 89 of London, formerly of Exeter, beloved husband of Donna (Stone) Webster for 63 years, died peacefully at Henley Place Long Term Care Home London on Monday, March 8, 2021.   Loving father of David (Maria) Webster, Deborah Fuller, and Dennis Webster all of London. Adored grandfather of Sarah Fuller of Barrie and Matthew Fuller of London, England; Cody, Michael and Aiden Webster all of London Ontario. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law Marlene Burke and Sharon Buckingham, and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Georgina Webster, and his sister Velma Harvey.

Don proudly worked at Bell Telephone for 8 years before transitioning into teaching.  He taught at various schools, including being the Commercial Department Director at South Huron District High School from 1967-1988. He was a prominent member of the Masonic Order for more than 60 years.   He was a Past Master of Lebanon Forest Lodge No. 133 Exeter, Past District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM) of South Huron District, a member of the Scottish Rite, a 33rd Degree Mason, and a Mocha Shriner.  He was a dedicated member of Mocha Concert Band, Trumpet Band and Road Runners.   He was also a member of the Shriners Hospital for Children Board of Directors in Erie PA, where he proudly achieved emeritus status. Don was also a member of the Exeter Community Band, the Dashwood-Seaforth Band, and many other organizations.

Cremation with a family graveside service at the Exeter Cemetery will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated by the family.

The Webster family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the Springbank Unit, Henley Place for their compassionate care.

Donna and Family. Don has been such a good friend ever since we first met in 1953. He was senior to me when we worked together at Bell.He taught me a lot about the job and about life. I remember him saying “ I’ve taught you every thing I know and you still don’t know anything “.
My Dad passed when I was quite young and Don was a great support for me. He was a good example of what a Mason should be.
It was sad to see how he had failed when I last visited him.
He will be missed by the many he has touched in his life.
