Peacefully, at Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich, on Monday, June 11, 2007, Ethel Louisa (Baker) Warden passed away in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Anthony Warden of Zurich. Dear mother of Richard and Joannie Tiffin of Kincardine, Daniel and Joanne Tiffin of Kincardine, Mark Tiffin of Windsor, Christine and Danny Watson of England and step mother of Barbara Brazier of Windsor, Margaret Hart of Windsor, Betty and Dennis Robinson of St. Clair Beach, Susan and Bill Beck of Windsor, Richard Warden of Windsor, Michael and Pat Warden of Texas and Anthony and Pat Warden of Amherstburg. Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren,10 step grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mary and Ray Gellineau, Corrin and Gordon Jenson, Albert Baker, Rita Baker, Eric and Carol Baker, Allan Baker, Sheila and John Brown and Christine and John Percival. Predeceased by her daughter Yvonne, son-in-law Bob Brazier and brother Roy Baker and sister-in-law Barbara Jean Baker.
Visitaton in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N., Zurich on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Rev. John Spencer officiating. Interment Bayfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Ethel Warden

To a journey that started 6-1/2 years ago, there is some comfort in knowing whom she is singing and dancing with now. Despite her physical limitations, she still could look you in the eye and speak volumes. I will certainly miss those moments. Yvonne would be sure to be the first to greet her as I’m sure she was with her Monday evening. Nana will always remain that bright light in our family circle. And, if we try real hard, we can hear her giggling and singing to her heart’s content (maybe it’s because she’s a Londoner….).
