VAN WIEREN: Harm “Harry” of Exeter

Harry passed away peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Trudy (VanTol) Van Wieren (2011). Loving father of Joanne Van Wieren, Klaas Van Wieren (Michael), Doreen and Ken Fraser, and Tony Van Wieren. Proud Opa of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Friday, October 24th from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM, where Harry’s funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Interment Exeter Cemetery.

To Harry’s Family, my condolences to you all on the passing of your father. I delivered prescriptions to him from Guardian Drug Stores for years while he was still in his home. I would say hello to him in Bluewater since my dad has been there these past few years. Such a nice Gentleman

Harry was my patient at Queensway and was such a joy to be around we did puzzles and admire the plants he had and I’d always bring him a special treat every once a wile he loved to sit and chat and tell me about all the people in the pictures in his room he will be truly missed

My sincere condolences in the loss of your dear Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Harry was a super friendly fellow and always smiling, very welcoming and warm. I will always treasure the friendship I had with both Trudy and Harry over 25 years. We had several memorable visits over their kitchen table. They were very valued and appreciated long time customers.
