A gentle man in every sense of the word, kind , humurous ,crafty and a man of faith. He made time for everyone as I remember this from when I was a toddler on the farm up till now when I randomly saw him on the street a few years back. Wonderful man, he will be missed.

It was always a pleasure to meet Lee and play with him at the Tuesday Tunes. Please accept my sympath; his passing leaves an emptiness in all who were privileged to know him.

Our sincere sympathy on the passing of Leen. As a member of Jubilation, I always enjoyed Leen’s harmonica playing and his enthusiasm to be a part of the praise team. He was so inventive and I know that the doctors were very impressed that he could find a way to make music after his surgery. I loved how he’d kick up his leg to show that he was feeling good! He was a kind, loving and faithful man who will be missed.

Although I wasn’t lucky enough to meet Jane’s father, her stories brought him to life in the most wonderful and loving way. My deepest condolences to the whole Van de Ban family.

Agatha and family: My condolences on the passing of Leen.

My sincere condolences to Agatha, Jane and Darryl, and everyone in the family. I was able to watch the funeral by video and it was a lovely service. I enjoyed hearing his harmonica music and seeing all the pictures which brought back happy memories of many a Sunday afternoon spent at the farm when I was growing up. I remember his stories, his harmonica playing and his ever present pipe. I hope you will find comfort in your memories of him in the days ahead.

So sorry to hear of Leen’s passing. I was just scrolling through the funeral Notices tonight when I seen Leen’s obituary, I watched his service on livestream. Amazing to see all the family photos . Leen looked as good in the pictures as I remember him. It was nice to see the family pictures with the music played by him . I remember a lot of those songs because he would play them when we worked together. He was an awesome man. May my prayers and thoughts be with you Agatha and all your family tonight.
