TULPIN:  Charlene Rosalea (Stevens) Tulpin of Grand Bend, passed away surrounded with the love of her family by her side, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, at the age of 76. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Raymond “Ray” Camiel Tulpin, her loved daughter and granddaughter Sandra and Cameron Knifton of Toronto, daughter Kim Smith and Peter French and granddaughter Amber of Fenwick.  Also by her stepchildren Frances, Randy and Christine and grandchildren Damien, Nathan, Tyler, Ryan, MacKenzie, Taylor Rebecca. Charlene had an adventurous spirit loving snowmobiling, motorcycling, camping, travelling and being around friends and family by the campfire and in the pool “her happy place”.  She was an avid baker, gardener and caregiver.  Her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched as she provided care and compassion to those in the community during her time as a PSW. Charlene had a way of making everyone feel special and those who had the privilege of meeting her fell in love from the very start.

The family would like to give special thank you to Dr. Van Osch and Dr. Hammond and the entire staff at the Grand Bend Community Health Centre and Jessica’s House Hospice, the VON and Ontario Health at Home staff for the kind care Charlene received during her long illness.  As per Charlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial donations, if desired (payable directly) to Jessica’s House Residential Hospice in Exeter, or the Grand Bend area Community Health Centre.  The T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood entrusted with arrangements.

Charlene is fondly known as “Nanny Charlene” to our family. She brought comfort and joy to our entire family as she cared for my Grandma Frieda Hayter. We are forever grateful for the time, laughs and kindness she shared.
