TROTTER: Terry of Seaforth, formerly of Stratford
Posted By Haskett Funeral Homes On February 19, 2025 @ 2:54 PM In Obituary,Seaforth | 72 Comments

Passed away suddenly at Seaforth Community Hospital on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 67. Survived by his loving wife Connie (Dick) Trotter for 45 years, two daughters Melissa (Gerald) and Kelsi (Brandon), Aunt Janice, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bryan (Trudy), Dianne (Arn). Terry is also survived by nieces, nephews and Cousins. He will be greatly missed by his grand puppies Axel and Dexter. Predeceased by his mother Leona, grandparents John and Ethel Shyne, Aunt and Uncle Walter and Marg Shyne and in-law’s Bill and Ruby Dick.
Terry was a dedicated and hardworking family man who took immense pride in his girls. He and Connie shared a love for long drives, always in search of the perfect breakfast spot. Their travels took them to Cuba, Florida, California, England, Ireland, Texas, Kansas, and across much of Ontario. Terry was happiest exploring on his e-bike, riding from Seaforth to Bayfield, Brussels, Stratford, and anywhere in between that piqued his curiosity. A lifelong learner with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he was always reading and could fix just about anything.
The family would like to thank the first responders, Seaforth Hospital staff, and Victim Services volunteers, Angela and Art for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. As per Terry’s wishes no visitation will be held and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations to G2G Rail Trail or the Stratford Perth Animal Centre would be appreciated by the family.
The future is an untrodden path, let your heart guide your feet upon it.
For life, for love, forever.
Our hearts our in mourning with you but are also filled with gratefulness for the times we spent together!
May God grant you comfort as you journey et this road of grieving.
Always know how dearly & deeply you are loved!!!
Julie & Jeff
