TRAVERS: Kathleen “Katie” Minnie (Preece) (Green) of Exeter

Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Friday, March 20, 2020 of Exeter, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Donald Wardell Travers (2011) and William Ramsay Green (1995). Much loved mother of Sally Green and Tom Posthumus, Robert and Sherry Green, Helen and Ken Klages, Alison and Floyd Fields, Tom and Sharon Travers, and Gail and Larry Mason. Cherished grandmother of 18, great-grandmother of 22, and great great-grandmother of 1. Deeply missed and adored from afar by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Ida Kathleen (Fox) Preece, her siblings and their spouses Jim and Annie Preece, Nancy and John Furber.

Kathleen was born in Lea Marston, Warwickshire, England. She was an avid gardener, so fittingly, a tree will be planted as a living reminder and memory.

In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at the Exeter Cemetery on Thursday, September 3rd at 2:30 PM. Though the service is private, the family invites you to join with them from the comfort of your home. Stream the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220).

For those who wish, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
